Test towers let you try a fresh start without touching your main tower. They're kept on this device only.
Field manual
Building
Pick a tool, then tap the tower. Every room needs something under it. Bare floor is laid for you, and each level of it further down costs more, so building high over open space adds up. On a phone, tap once to preview, drag it to adjust, and tap it again to build.
Elevators
Rooms above the street need an elevator stop on an unbroken stretch of rooms; nobody walks across bare floor. Crowded shafts make people queue and cost morale, so add cars. From three stars, an express stops at the lobby, every basement floor and every tenth floor (the sky lobbies). Start a sky elevator at a sky lobby and residents change there.
Stars and goals
Goals under the top bar pay bonus credits. More residents earn stars, and each star unlocks rooms, taller floors and more elevators. Residents expect more at every star.
The Chem lords
From two stars, each floor has a gang meter on the left edge. Empty homes, unhappy residents, dark rooms and unwatched bare floor let gangs in; security, cameras and jobs keep them out. Tap a room on a gang floor to Squeeze, Raid or call the Judges.
Noise and warnings
Machines are loud, so put them in the basement or soundproof them. An amber dot on a room needs attention and a red one is broken.
Controls
Drag to move and pinch to zoom. On a computer, scroll to move, ctrl + scroll or + and - to zoom, and m for the money view. $ shows what rooms earn and ๐ the daily report.
What's new
Phones still pause apps in the background.
What you build and how far you get, with no name or account, so the game can get better.
Cloud save
Cloud save is for your main tower. Switch back to it above to change these settings.
Your game saves on this device. Turn on cloud save to carry on from your phone or computer.

Playing on another device
Your tower was opened on another device, so it's paused here to keep the two from overwriting each other.
